The Pixel 6a might bring Google’s Pixel range back to India

We already have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the Google Pixel 6a, even though it hasn’t gone on sale yet. This is thanks to leaked images and specifications. The Pixel 5a was only available in two countries, but it looks like the Pixel 6a will be available in many more countries. According to a recent leak, India may be one of the countries where the Pixel 6a will be launched.

A tipster in India, Mukul Sharma, has claimed that a Google Pixel smartphone is currently being tested privately. Sharma couldn’t say for sure if the phone in question is actually the Pixel 6a, but it is possible that this smartphone is the future Pixel A series model because of the timing and May debut date. It’s worth noting that prior leaks and rumours haven’t said that Google plans to launch the smartphone in India. Readers are urged not to take this leak too seriously.

The last Google phone to be released in India on a formal basis before the Pixel 4a was the Pixel 3a. A hit by Google’s standards, the phone routinely sold out on Flipkart and other e-commerce sites in India.

Although Google has not confirmed it, there is speculation that the Pixel 6a will be released this month. The Google I/O 2022 event, which begins on May 11, would be the ideal venue for announcing both the Pixel 6a and the Pixel Watch.

The Pixel 6a is likely to be a mid-range phone that is reasonably priced. It is said to be powered by Google’s Tensor chipset and have a 6.2-inch display with a hole-punch cutout in the center. Sony IMX363 and IMX386 sensors are said to be used in the twin camera system on the back of the phone.

Google’s rumoured Pixel 6a has been released by OnLeaks.
