Google is expected to introduce the Pixel 6, which has been the subject of several leaks. The most recent one sheds light on the device’s future configuration and anticipated launch companion. According to famous tipster Jon Prosser (via his YouTube video), Google will launch two Pixel 6 phones: the standard Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro. This marks the company’s formal transition away from the ‘XL’ moniker.
Both models are expected to feature a large camera hump in place of the current Pixel phones’ square-shaped camera module. Additionally, the camera configuration is likely to change. While the Pixel 6 will almost certainly feature dual rear cameras, the Pixel 6 Pro will feature three. This means that cameras will greatly improve.
Additionally, the colour scheme is supposed to change. On both devices, the top portion of the rear panel (up to the camera setup) may be tinted black or orange. The remainder of the rear end should be painted white. This will almost certainly result in a color-block effect.
On the front, the upcoming Pixel smartphones are expected to sport a punch-hole display (this time in the centre of the top portion) with extremely thin bezels.
According to 9to5Google, the Pixel 6 will feature Google’s in-house chip, codenamed Whitechapel. It will be able to contend with the likes of Apple as a result of this.
Features expected in Pixel 6.
Additionally, an in-display fingerprint scanner, increased RAM and storage, larger batteries with potential support for faster charging, and out-of-the-box Android 12 could be included. This upcoming phone is expected to feature a 6.2-inch (15.74-cm) display with a resolution of 1080 x 2240 pixels. As a result, when playing games or watching videos, you’ll have an immersive viewing experience.
The phone is said to have six gigabytes of disc, six gigabytes of RAM, and one hundred and eight gigabytes of internal storage. You won’t have to worry about running out of space while storing your images, songs, games, and documents. Additionally, the upcoming phone is rumoured to be powered by an Octa-Core processor, which will allow it to run smoothly and quickly. Additionally, you will be able to run multiple applications and play games with intense graphics without experiencing any lag or interruptions.
In terms of optics, the upcoming Google phone is expected to feature a dual camera system on the back. There is rumour of a 16 MP + 16 MP + 12 MP camera that will enable you to capture some incredible images. The rear camera setup can include features such as digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus. On the edge, the smartphone is expected to feature a 12.2 MP + 16 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Google Pixel 6 may support a variety of networking options, including WiFi – Yes, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth – Yes, v5.0, and 5G (network not yet available in India), 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, and 2G.
