Partnership between Epic Games and Microsoft will allow gamers to play Fortnite on PCs, tablets, and smartphones via Xbox Cloud Gaming. According to Xbox (Beta), Xbox Cloud Gaming now offers free access to Fortnite on supported browser-enabled devices.

Fortnite was banned from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store because of a dispute with Epic Games over app store fees. For the first time, the game will be accessible to iOS users in more than a dozen countries via Cloud Gaming.

How to play Fortnite for free on your iPhone or iPad

In order to play Fortnite on your iOS device, all you need is a Microsoft account and either an iOS, iPadOS, Android phone or tablet, or a Windows PC with internet connectivity. The game is also compatible with gamepads in addition to touch controllers.

There are no membership fees or installations required for the game. Begin immediately by following these simple instructions:

In order to participate in the next Victory Royale, you and your friends can now sign up.

“Adding Free-to-Play titles to our cloud gaming catalogue is an essential step in our journey to make gaming accessible to everyone,” Xbox stated in a statement. We’re kicking things off with Fortnite and plan to add additional popular F2P titles in the future. Cloud computing plays a vital role in Xbox’s ambition to make gaming accessible to the world’s 3 billion users. In a nutshell, we want you to be able to play the games you want and the way you want to play them.
