EA will begin testing its new Lord of the Rings mobile game

The Lord of the Rings, a classic book series made into a cult classic film series, is finally coming to television. To create a new mobile game based on the Lord of the Rings universe, Electronic Arts has teamed up with Middle-earth Enterprises. As a follow-up, EA’s next soccer game could be renamed EA Sports FC instead of FIFA.

This is huge news for fans of both The Lord of the Rings and EA Sports games. With this new partnership, we can expect to see some amazing new games that bring the world of Middle-earth to life like never before.

The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth is the title of the game. It will be a collectible role-playing game (RPG) based on The Lord of the Rings universe, with elements of strategy and social competition. Limited regional beta testing for The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth is planned to begin this summer.

In The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, players will be able to engage in turn-based battle, build their own character rosters, and interact with characters from all throughout Tolkien’s and Tolkien’s works. In the realm of Tolkien, players will be able to take on the horrors of Middle-earth in epic battles. With an expansive world to explore and a wealth of characters to encounter, The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth promises hours upon hours of gameplay for fans of the franchise.

LOTR: Heroes of Middle-earth is the first mobile game developed by EA based on the stories, characters, and lore of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit books. The game features an extensive roster of heroes and villains from the films, allowing players to take control of their favorite characters and experience the epic battles from the movies firsthand. With stunning graphics and immersive gameplay, LOTR: Heroes of Middle-earth is the ultimate mobile game for fans of J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic fantasy series.

Malachi Boyle, Vice President of Mobile RPGs at Electronic Arts, is excited to be working with The Saul Zaentz Company and Middle-earth Enterprises on the next generation of mobile role-playing games. He says that players can expect an authentic experience because the crew is made up of fans of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit who work together every day to make it happen. Boyle writes that the combination of high-fidelity graphics, cinematic animations, and stylish art will immerse gamers in the world of Middle-earth, where they will face their favorite characters.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with EA once again, and this time to create a mobile game that’s inspired purely by J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth,” said Fredrica Drotos, Chief Brand & Licensing Officer for SZC’s Middle-earth Enterprises. “It’s an honor to be working with the talented Capital Games team,” said Capital Games in a statement.
