Android 13 beta is now accessible for the Realme GT 2 Pro

Android 13 Beta 1 is the first build of Google’s forthcoming Android operating system, which will be called Android 13. There has been two Developer Preview builds prior to the final release. Google’s Pixel smartphones were the only ones to get the Developer Preview, but the beta has since spread to a number of other handsets from other manufacturers. Android 13 preview builds for the OnePlus 10 Pro have recently been released. Now, Realme has released Android 13 Beta 1 for its flagship GT2 Pro.

Realme has made the Android 13 beta available to developers as part of their Developer Preview programme. As a result, the current Realme GT 2 Pro Beta missing a number of Realme UI-specific features that are present in stable versions of the software. According to Google, this build should only be used by app developers in preparation for the next Android OS release. If you’re a regular user who wants to give Android 13 a shot, be aware that it may be problematic and unstable and hence unusable.

A backup of your phone or tablet is the first step in installing the update. The internal storage will be totally wiped out during the update process, therefore this is a must-have. Make sure the phone is on the stable RMX3301 A.14 build.

The beta firmware ZIP file can be downloaded from the link below and copied to the smartphone if everything is in order.

Next, go to Settings -> Software Update -> Settings in the upper right corner and choose the installation package manually. After the build has been installed, the device will be restarted.

You can use the rollback package to return to the Android 12-based stable Realme UI if you’re having trouble booting or just wish to go back to that version. The beta announcement thread linked below has more information on the beta programme.
